Cash runway calculator
Compare monthly cash balances, reserve breaches and funding timing across business scenarios.
Compare complete monthly cash scenarios with different receipts, payments, growth and financing timing. Start funding arrives before monthly operations; end funding arrives afterward. A negative balance before end funding remains visible even when closing cash recovers. The reserve test uses strictly below, so cash equal to the reserve does not breach it. The report continues through negative balances. A monthly model cannot establish intra-month solvency. No credit, taxes, interest or unentered funding is assumed. Runs on your device without uploads in a cancellable worker with a 10-second timeout. Limit: 250000 combined input characters, 20 scenarios, 600 monthly periods or 1000 invoices. Complete JSON and typed JSON Pointer CSV files each have an 8000000-character limit; CSV is limited to 250000 values. Preview shows 200 rows. Inputs are preserved in downloads. All results use floating-point arithmetic without payment rounding. Up to 1,000,000 characters. Review the settings before running.

Useful next steps
Funding timing changes the cash picture
Start-of-month financing is available before that month’s operating cash movements. End-of-month financing arrives afterward. A recovered closing balance does not erase an earlier modeled shortfall. Monthly totals cannot reveal the exact day a business needs cash.
Compare scenarios without hiding assumptions
Receipts and payments grow from month two using your separate monthly assumptions. The constant-burn reference ignores financing, growth and reserves. The complete schedule retains month zero and every modeled month, including negative balances.
