Maker utilities prepare models and dimensions for another application or machine. File conversion is only part of the workflow: scale, orientation and geometry can affect whether the result is usable.

Preview dimensions, surface orientation and missing geometry in the destination application. Keep a known-size reference when a format does not encode units clearly.
Common questions about maker tools
Can a model look correct and still fail to print?
Yes. Open surfaces, thin walls, overlapping geometry and unsupported features can cause problems that are not obvious from one view.
Does converting a mesh add detail?
No. A conversion does not recover geometry that was absent from the original. Check whether materials, textures and scene information are supported by the destination format.
