How to use Resume builder
- Enter your contact details and choose paper size, margins and reading direction.
- Add sections and entries, write your own descriptions and bullets, and reorder or remove them as needed.
- Review the preview and create the downloads. Keep the editable JSON to continue later, and check pagination in the application where you will use the resume.
Useful next steps
Your content stays yours
The builder does not invent jobs, dates, qualifications or achievements. Section names are editable, optional fields may be left blank, and text is preserved rather than rewritten. Your document remains in this tab unless you explicitly download it. There is no automatic online storage.
Choose an export for its purpose
The standalone HTML uses semantic headings, paragraphs and lists and embeds the fonts needed by its content. It includes print styling for the chosen paper size and margins. DOCX keeps headings and bullets editable and uses normal word-processor font fallback, so pagination and available fonts may vary. Plain text contains all written content; editable JSON preserves the structured fields. A browser-printed PDF is a print copy, not a claim of tagged PDF accessibility.
Check character coverage and layout
The preview may use available browser fonts. Portable HTML export checks the bundled font coverage and stops if a character is unsupported. Review long entries, right-to-left text, headings and page breaks before submitting. No resume score, hiring outcome or applicant-tracking compatibility is promised.
