Plant spacing calculator
Create aligned or offset rows with a coordinate for every plant and a scaled SVG garden plan.
Maximum 10,000 plant centers, 1,000 rows and 2,000 mm drawing dimensions before the outer print margin. This is a geometric plan, not a yield estimate or plant-health recommendation. Change the input or settings to update your result. Results update as you type. Up to 1,000,000 characters.

How to use Plant spacing calculator
- Enter your measured quantities, units and assumptions.
- Review the calculated result and the stated limits.
- Download the report or plan for your project.
Useful next steps
Choose the center spacing
Measure a rectangular bed, set the margin from each edge to plant centers, and choose along-row and between-row spacing. Offset rows shift alternate rows by half the along-row spacing.
Use the coordinate plan
Run the calculation to download every plant position and a physical-size SVG at 1:n scale. Coordinates start at the bottom-left corner. Print at actual size and measure the 100 mm calibration bar before relying on print dimensions.
Save the measurements and assumptions
Download CSV and a text or JSON report. The calculation runs on your device. Changing a unit keeps the number you entered, so check both before using the result.
