Unit price calculator
Compare two pack prices using equivalent quantities. See which costs less per kilogram, liter, meter, square meter or item.
Use the same currency for both total prices and include any charges you want to compare. Amount per item is multiplied by the number of items in the pack. You can compare different units of the same quantity, such as grams and kilograms, but cannot mix mass with volume without a separate density conversion. Results use floating-point arithmetic rounded to 12 significant digits. Quality, delivery conditions and product suitability are not compared. Change the input or settings to update your result. Results update as you type. Up to 1,000,000 characters.

Useful next steps
Compare the same quantity
A 500 g pack priced at 3 costs 6 per kilogram. A 1 kg pack priced at 5 costs 5 per kilogram, so its unit price is lower even though its pack price is higher.
Include the whole pack
For four 250 g items sold together for 3, enter 3 as the total price, 250 as the amount, grams as the unit and 4 as the item count. The total quantity is 1 kg.
Keep the comparison fair
Both prices must use the same currency. Include taxes and other charges consistently. This tool compares quantity-adjusted prices, not quality, ingredients or delivery terms.
