Can a document summary replace the original?
A summary omits information by design. Use source references to verify important statements and return to the full document for qualifications, definitions or exceptions.
Why should extracted tables be checked?
Merged cells, decimal separators, missing headers and reading-order errors can put correct-looking values in the wrong column. Keep a preview linked to the original so those errors are easy to correct.
