Compare a student concept map with your own, link by link. Each of your links is marked matched, mislabelled or missing, extra student links are listed, and the score rule is shown.
Up to 1,000 rows and 200,000 characters, each cell up to 80 characters. Synonym rows leave the relation empty. Everything is computed on your device and nothing is uploaded. Downloads: JSON report, CSV of every link and a printable HTML comparison. Start with the header row. Use role instructor, student or synonym on every line. Up to 200,000 characters. Review the settings before running.

How links are compared
Each link is a proposition of source concept, relation and target concept, as in Novak and Cañas, The Theory Underlying Concept Maps and How to Construct and Use Them, IHMC Technical Report 2006-01 Rev 01-2008, checked 2026-10-16. Words are compared ignoring letter case and extra spaces, after applying your synonyms. A student link with the same source, relation and target is matched; the same source and target with another relation is mislabelled; otherwise your link is missing. Each student link counts once, and every exact match is made before any link is marked mislabelled. Student links left over are extra.
Score
The score is the number of matched instructor links divided by the number of instructor links, times 100, shown to one decimal place. Mislabelled and extra links do not change the score but are listed for your review.
Limits
Only exact wording and your synonyms are matched. A student who paraphrases a link in other words will show as mislabelled or missing, so review those links before using the score.
