| --- | --- |
| Tool ID | `scooter-charging-calculator` |
| Category | calculators |
| Implementation | Registered implementation. Registration alone is not a production-quality guarantee. |

| Browser-agent interface | run_current_tool |

### Implementation notes

Energy is nominal battery V × Ah; starting and target charge must be from 0 to 100%, with target at least the starting value. Ideal duration uses charger DC output V × A; charger output voltage must be 0.001 to 1000 V and current 0.001 to 10000 A. Efficiency changes grid energy and cost only; duration multiplier changes time only. Electricity price is 0 to 10000 per kWh. This is a constant-rating estimate, not a measured charging curve. It does not establish charger compatibility, battery health, safe charge limits or actual completion time. Runs locally without uploads. Limit: 500000 combined input characters, 2000 records, 30 tariffs or grades, 30 tiers per tariff and 100 depreciation years. Complete JSON and JSON Pointer CSV exports are each capped at 2000000 characters and CSV at 200000 leaf records. Preview shows 200 report rows. Calculations stop after 10 seconds. Copy result copies the report text; downloads include source inputs, units, assumptions and complete results.

### Browser-agent workflow

1. Open the human page in a browser that supports WebMCP.
2. Discover the interface exposed by that page; use its actual schema.
3. Select files on the page first when the tool requires files.
4. Call `run_current_tool` with valid input and settings.
5. Inspect the returned result or error and the displayed output. Retrieve files from the displayed download links.

Calls do not automatically copy or download results. Browser permissions still apply. Interface availability alone is not proof of successful execution.

### Planning specification

Energy is nominal battery V × Ah; starting and target charge must be from 0 to 100%, with target at least the starting value. Ideal duration uses charger DC output V × A; charger output voltage must be 0.001 to 1000 V and current 0.001 to 10000 A. Efficiency changes grid energy and cost only; duration multiplier changes time only. Electricity price is 0 to 10000 per kWh. This is a constant-rating estimate, not a measured charging curve. It does not establish charger compatibility, battery health, safe charge limits or actual completion time. Processing stays on your device in a cancellable worker with a 10-second timeout. Maximum 500000 combined input characters and 2000 records, with 30 tariffs or grades, 30 tiers per tariff and 100 depreciation years. Guided decimals allow up to six places without thousands separators. Full JSON and JSON Pointer CSV include all source inputs, units, assumptions and results; each file is capped at 2000000 characters and CSV at 200000 leaf records. All tariff totals precede the first 200 detail rows in the parking preview; other tables preview 200 rows. Software bounds are not vehicle capability claims. Results use floating-point arithmetic.

This describes intended requirements. Use the implementation notes, interface schema and observed output to determine current support.

### How to use Scooter charging calculator

1. Enter nominal battery voltage and amp-hour capacity, then your starting and target charge.
2. Enter charger DC output ratings, your efficiency and duration assumptions, and electricity price.
3. Review modeled energy, duration and cost. Download the full report with all assumptions.

## Use battery and charger ratings separately

Battery energy in kWh equals nominal battery volts times amp-hours divided by 1000. Charger DC output power equals output volts times output amps. The battery nominal voltage and charger output voltage are different inputs.

### Make charging assumptions explicit

Ideal hours equal the requested stored energy divided by charger DC power. The entered duration multiplier allows for taper or delays. Wall-to-battery efficiency affects grid energy and electricity cost, not ideal DC charging duration. These assumptions do not verify charger compatibility or predict a measured completion time.
