## Tool capabilities

| Property | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Tool ID | `freezer-meal-planner` |
| Category | calculators |
| Implementation | Registered implementation. Registration alone is not a production-quality guarantee. |
| Browser execution | Use the visible action or interactive controls. |
| Browser processing | Browser; see tool notes for network behavior. |
| HTTP API | Not callable through HTTP. |
| Browser-agent interface | run_current_tool |

### Implementation notes

Scale ingredient quantities, combine repeated ingredients and print portion labels. This planner gives quantities only. It does not give food-storage or food-safety guidance. Runs on your device.

### Inputs and settings

No free-text input is required. Use the file inputs and/or settings below.

| Setting | Meaning | Control type | Default | Constraints |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `recipesCsv` | Recipe portions and ingredients | textarea | "recipe,ingredient,quantity,unit,base_servings,planned_servings,portion_size\nTomato rice,Rice,300,g,4,3,1.25\nTomato rice,Sauce,200,mL,4,3,1.25" | |
| `plannedDate` | Label date (optional) | date | "" | |

### Browser-agent workflow

1. Open the human page in a browser that supports WebMCP.
2. Discover the interface exposed by that page; use its actual schema.
3. Select files on the page first when the tool requires files.
4. Call `run_current_tool` with valid input and settings.
5. Inspect the returned result or error and the displayed output. Retrieve files from the displayed download links.

Calls do not automatically copy or download results. Browser permissions still apply. Interface availability alone is not proof of successful execution.

### Planning specification

Enter up to 20 recipes, 200 ingredient rows per recipe and 1,000 total ingredient rows. portion_size means portions per container, not physical volume; decimal portion capacities are allowed. Units are normalized only within compatible quantity kinds. No mass-to-volume density is inferred. This quantity and label planner does not advise on storage, cooling, thawing, reheating or food safety. Recipes are not saved by this tool.

This describes intended requirements. Use the implementation notes, interface schema and observed output to determine current support.

## Scale and combine ingredients

Ingredient amounts scale by planned servings divided by base servings. Identically named ingredients combine only when their units can be normalized to the same quantity kind; names remain literal.

### Portions per container

portion\_size is the number of portions per container, not a volume. Decimal sizes are allowed and the final container may be partly filled. For 3 planned portions and 1.25 portions per container, the portions are 1.25, 1.25 and 0.5.

### Quantity planning only

Labels contain the recipe, planned portions and optional date. This tool does not give food-storage or food-safety advice.
