## Tool capabilities

| Property | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Tool ID | `chore-reward-tracker` |
| Category | calculators |
| Implementation | Registered implementation. Registration alone is not a production-quality guarantee. |
| Browser execution | Use the visible action or interactive controls. |
| Browser processing | Browser; see tool notes for network behavior. |
| HTTP API | Not callable through HTTP. |
| Browser-agent interface | run_current_tool |

### Implementation notes

Points are added up on this device for up to 250 rows. Rewards are agreed treats, not money.

### Inputs and settings

Text input: Chores, rewards and completions as CSV, or a backup file.

Example or placeholder shown in the interface (not a validated fixture):

```text
record,name,points,person,date
```

Record is chore, reward or done. Chores and rewards put their points in the points column. Up to 400,000 characters. Review the settings before running.

| Setting | Meaning | Control type | Default | Constraints |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `from` | Count completions from (optional) | date | "" |  |
| `to` | Count completions until (optional) | date | "" |  |

### Browser-agent workflow

1. Open the human page in a browser that supports WebMCP.
2. Discover the interface exposed by that page; use its actual schema.
3. Select files on the page first when the tool requires files.
4. Call `run_current_tool` with valid input and settings.
5. Inspect the returned result or error and the displayed output. Retrieve files from the displayed download links.

Calls do not automatically copy or download results. Browser permissions still apply. Interface availability alone is not proof of successful execution.

### Planning specification

Up to 250 rows and 100,000 characters of CSV, or a backup file of up to 500 records and 400,000 characters made by this tool. Everything is calculated on your device. Downloads: JSON report, CSV and a JSON backup.

This describes intended requirements. Use the implementation notes, interface schema and observed output to determine current support.

## Page guide

Add up the points each person earns for agreed chores and see which agreed rewards they have reached. Rewards are treats or privileges, never money.

### How to use Chore reward tracker

1. List each chore with its points and, if you like, who usually does it.
2. List each reward with the points it needs.
3. Add a done row for each completed chore with the person and date.
4. Optionally limit the count to a date range, then review and download.

## Rows and points

Chore rows set the points for a chore. Reward rows set the points a reward needs, in the points column. Done rows name a listed chore, the person who did it and the date, and earn that chore's points.

### Reaching rewards

A reward is reached when a person's points for the chosen dates are at least its cost. Points are not spent or deducted, and nothing here is a payment. Agree the chores and rewards together before you start.

### Privacy

Names stay on this device. Use first names or nicknames if the chart is shared or printed.

### Keeping your records

Nothing is uploaded. Every result includes a backup file. Paste or open that backup later to pick up where you left off, because records kept in a browser can be lost when site data is cleared.
