| --- | --- |
| Tool ID | `bread-dough-temperature-calculator` |
| Category | calculators |
| Implementation | Registered implementation. Registration alone is not a production-quality guarantee. |
| Browser execution | Automatic updates after valid input or file selection. |
| Browser processing | Browser; see tool notes for network behavior. |
| HTTP API | Not callable through HTTP. |

### Implementation notes

Estimate water temperature with the empirical three/four-factor method, or calibrate friction from a test batch. Fahrenheit friction is a difference, not an absolute temperature. Calculated on your device. Changing units keeps the entered numbers.

### Inputs and settings

### Browser-agent workflow

1. Open the human page in a browser that supports WebMCP.
2. Discover the interface exposed by that page; use its actual schema.
3. Select files on the page first when the tool requires files.
4. Call `run_current_tool` with valid input and settings.
5. Inspect the returned result or error and the displayed output. Retrieve files from the displayed download links.

Calls do not automatically copy or download results. Browser permissions still apply. Interface availability alone is not proof of successful execution.

### Planning specification

Three factors for straight dough and four with a preferment. Results outside water’s ordinary liquid range need a revised plan; this tool does not calculate ice or heating.

This describes intended requirements. Use the implementation notes, interface schema and observed output to determine current support.

### How to use Bread dough temperature calculator

1. Enter the measurements and assumptions for this recipe or plan.
2. Review the calculated quantities and their stated basis.
3. Download the report and verify it against your measured result.

## Useful next steps

## Use your own measurements

The factor method uses flour, room and desired dough temperatures, plus preferment temperature when present. Enter a measured friction adjustment for your mixer and schedule; the default is an example.

### Calibrate the next batch

After mixing, measure the actual dough temperature and select Calibrate friction. Fahrenheit friction is a temperature difference, so its conversion does not subtract 32. This empirical method is not a heat-capacity simulation.

### Save the result

Download CSV and a text or JSON report with the calculation and its assumptions. Processing stays on your device. Check measurements and selected units before using the result.
